Bill 101 (HB 101) proposes to eliminate the prohibition against
BSL statewide making it legal throughout every city and county
in Florida to pass BSL laws...putting all dogs at risk!!
Anyone who owns ANY breed of dog be it a Bully breed, Rottweiler,
German Shepherd, Dobie, etc...needs to take action against this
Bill.
Rep.
Perry Thurston is the Bill's author. His territory is Broward
County. But we, of the entire state of Florida, need to express
our views on why this Bill is dangerous and undesirable. We
have to get our letters into our Representative's hands now.
Do not let our Representatives make choices that will take away
our freedom to choose and enjoy any breed of dog in our own
homes and cities. To responsible dog owners, our pets are family
members. We don't need legislation to restrict those who abuse
a breed, while hurting those of us who follow the law and love
that breed. Responsible pet ownership needs to be enforced,
NOT by banning a breed of dog.
We
DO NOT WANT this Bill to be introduced for a vote.
